To George Clooney: You Don’t Deserve the Award – Give it Back

Give back your Bob Hope Humanitarian Award. Really, give it back.

It was inhumane to make me sit through your new movie, The American.

It was inhumane and it was torture: therefore you need to return the humanitarian award.

In his movie, Sylvestor Stallone out acted you, who knew it was possible? He was an assassin more likable than you, in better shape, with better lines. Who knew?

What were you thinking? Let me tell you what I am thinking:

1. I'm thinking that you made this movie so you could sleep in your Lake Cuomo bed every night and pick up a handsome paycheck for your day job.

2. I'm thinking that with your famous sense of humor, this is a joke on the American public.

3. I'm thinking that you wanted to know if you could make a movie with no plot, no character development and no interest.

4. You really wanted to test the "build it and they will come" theory.

5. I'm thinking that you owe me not just for the price of the ticket, but for the time I spent watching this movie, that I can never get back

Here's what you need to know that no one will tell you:

You only look good when you smile: there was not much in this movie for you or the audience to smile about. Your shoulders need to be pumped up, and your arms are too wimpy to be an assassin.

You ran around pointing your gun as if you were playing cops and robbers, except that dying would have been more fun than your movie.

You acted in and produced a boring, boring movie with no raison d'tetre.

It was a tortuous 90 minutes and for that inhumane act, give the award back!
