Minding Our Elders on NPR Today: Putting Mom In a Nursing Home

Today, at 3:00 p.m. ET, on NPR's Talk of the Nation, columnist Amy Dickinson and Carol Bradley Bursack, founder of Minding Our Elders, will discuss the trials of putting an elder in a nursing home. Carol Bradley Bursack will be talking with Dickinson about the process she is going through with examples from the differing scenarios from Bradley Bursack's life. Bradley Bursack will also be addressing this issue as editor-in-chief of Eldercarelink.com. Over the span of two decades author, columnist and speaker Carol Bradley Bursack cared for a neighbor and six elderly family members. Because of this experience, Bradley Bursack created a portable support group, the book "Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories."
