From Pain to Wellness Author Provides Online Support to Chronic Pain Sufferers
CHICAGO – April 13, 2010 – For millions suffering from disabling chronic pain, getting to the doctor's office to obtain medical attention can be physically daunting. Getting the correct diagnosis in the current healthcare system is increasingly frustrating and that could lead to improper care. From one of the most published and forward thinking pain management specialists, and author of Pain to Wellness: Getting Help and Finding Freedom From Chronic Pain, Dr. James Gruft will offer online support via Skype to sufferers beginning Friday, April 30, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm CST.
In the From Pain to Wellness clinic Dr. Gruft developed a hands-on system that takes a patient with a pain issue and moves them from a pain-focus towards a wellness-focus. The system explores the components needed to make the system optimal. Once a proper diagnosis is determined, a wellness treatment plan is tailor made to each individual patient before implementing.
"Pain in multidimensional and should be treated accordingly," states Dr. Gruft. "I find that a person suffering from disabling chronic pain must be concurrently treated physically, psychologically and emotionally or the treatment will fail."
For anyone suffering from pain for longer than six months, or has difficulty sleeping, suffers from depression, has Fibromyalgia, a poorly understood and often devastating syndrome, or diminished capacity for standing or sitting or living a normal life, these online chats will prove invaluable, particularly to those without health insurance. To learn more please visit www.frompaintowellness.com. To email Dr. Gruft privately, connect with him on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter and receive timely updates on upcoming sessions.
