An internationally acclaimed safety and health expert and an award-winning parenting author, Debra is a respected consultant and spokesperson for high quality products and services that support children, motherhood, families, and a healthy living lifestyle. She has a law degree, an M.A. in occupational health and safety, a B.A. in communications, and is the mother of two children.
Debra is the Honorary Co-Chair of the Florida Safe Kids Coalition and teaches infant and toddler safety, CPR, and sibling classes at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. She is a certified child passenger safety technician and an American Heart BLS CPR/AED instructor.
Her best-selling books, The Safe Baby (Sentient Publications, 2009, Ist. edition, 2004), and The Panic-Proof Parent (McGraw-Hill, 2000) and have received rave reviews and endorsements by leading parenting authorities and safety and health organizations.
