Bob Bare has been creating new businesses and marketing concepts since his teenage years. Mr. Bare not only originates new business ideas, he does it often, and he takes action and implements them. Mr. Bare is a force of experience when it comes to launching and bootstrapping new businesses.
Bob Bare is well known within the hearing aid industry. He has spent over 25 years as a hearing health care professional, and was an active electronics technician and enthusiast for many years prior to that. His interest in hearing impairment and hearing aids began as a child, growing up with a father with a severe noise induced hearing loss.
Mr. Bare worked for one of the world's largest manufacturers of hearing aids as a difficult fittings specialist for a number of years, before founding his own hearing aid repair laboratory in 1989. He sold his all make repair laboratory in March of 2006, to concentrate on developing Hearing Haven. Hearing Haven is an integrated hearing health resource, which provides audiology, an on site hearing aid repair lab with factory trained technicians, and educational and training facilities for both those with hearing loss, and others who are interested in serving the deaf and communication impaired communities.
Bob Bare is active in service organizations and non-profit groups, and is often asked to speak or teach others. He is committed to educating the public, long term care facilities, and other hearing health professionals in providing broader and more effective approaches to hearing health care as the numbers of those experiencing communications difficulties grow during the coming years. He is currently a member of the American Auditory Society, and is interested in any way he can contribute to improving the quality of life of anyone experiencing auditory difficulties.
